TruSchool is our young people’s fundamentals of hip hop program based on the original Universal Zulu Nation tenets of peace, love and unity. We offer the fundamentals of breakdancing and popping and are adding the elements of deejaying, mceeing and writing. TruSchool is mentored by crew members old and new who come together for each Friday night class which includes a cypher with live deejays. TruSchool is free and open to all ages. TruSchool sponsors practices, battles, peewee battles and performances in collaboration with musicians, video artists and WholeProject. Follow us on Facebook for weekly updates.

Young People’s Programs are based on deep artistic intention and principles. The goal is to introduce and marinate young people in the inspiring sophisticated soul of art. They are free to all who come.

This program is supported in part by a Knight Arts Challenge grant.
